This is your chance to take ownership of a fast-paced operation, drive real results, and be part of something bigger.

We're on the lookout for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead Gliderol and Ezi Rolls Queensland site in Pinkenba. You'll be responsible for all aspects of production, despatch and inventory management across our sectional, roller, and industrial doors.

Your goal? Deliver on health & safety, industry leading quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction through positive people engagement.

With a team of over 50 (including 6 direct reports), you'll need to be a respectful and engaging leader, strong in the detail and comfortable challenging how things have always been done.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Creating a strong health & safety culture and ensuring compliance
• Running daily manufacturing operations across multiple garage door product lines
• Optimising inventory holdings and warehousing process.
• Driving DIFOT, labour efficiency, quality standards, and cost control
• Leading and coaching your team for performance and development
• Building an inclusive and engaged culture
• Managing continuous improvement projects across the site utilising LEAN principles.
• Working closely with Sales to deliver on customer expectations

YOUR SKILLS

We're seeking a hands-on operational leader with extensive manufacturing experience, strong people management skills and a clear process and systems orientated approach in a busy production environment.

Key attributes:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in operations or manufacturing leadership
• Proven ability to manage teams and deliver results in a KPI-driven environment
• Strong working knowledge of WHS compliance and safety leadership
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems (Sage experience highly regarded)
• LEAN manufacturing experience and certification (preferred)
• Commercial acumen
• Facilities maintenance knowledge and experience
• Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain, operations or a related field
