HR Partners by Randstad is excited to partner with a purpose-driven organisation based in Parramatta for a newly created HRBP (IR Advisor) role, fixed for 12 months. This role supports the Workplace Relations (ER) team in industrial relations matters, particularly with EA / EBAs and union dealings.

The role reports to the ER Manager, with primary responsibilities including:

  1. Providing advisory support on employment terms in accordance with Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and legislation.
  2. Leading and supporting enterprise agreement bargaining, advocacy, and negotiations with unions and external bodies.
  3. Monitoring the workplace relations landscape, especially IR and ER, offering strategic advice on compliance and responding to change.
  4. Monitoring employment conditions, minimising industrial disputes, and maintaining stakeholder relationships, especially with unions.
  5. Ensuring policies, procedures, and guidelines are current, compliant, and maintaining IR records and related materials.

To succeed in this position, you will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of HR experience as a subject matter expert in Industrial Relations.
  • Solid experience with Enterprise Agreements, particularly in leading or supporting EA / EBA negotiations end-to-end.
  • A tertiary qualification (certificate/diploma or higher) in HR or a related field, and/or Industrial Relations.
  • Strong HR knowledge, especially in Australian HR practices, legislation, industrial instruments, and frameworks.
