Overview

CLIENT SUPPORT OFFICER – Two month leave cover assignment at ECHO Community Services. Our Home Care team builds lasting relationships with clients to help them stay at home or engage with the community.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Client Advisors with Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) client assessments, environment assessments and simple care plans.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient services are provided to clients.
  • Assisting clients in rostering and general inquiries.
  • Ensuring administrative requirements are met.
  • Preparation of documents for Home Care agreements, CHSP home files etc.
  • Willingness to answer telephone inquiries, take messages and direct to the relevant person.
  • Ability to support the client with acknowledging and investigating complaints within scope of duties and knowledge.
  • Other administrative duties as directed.
Skills and Experiences
  • Qualification: Certificate in business/administration or equivalent desirable.
  • Essential: Substantial administrative experience, aged care experience, ability to manage complaints in a timely and respectful manner, experience in IT systems including Email, Excel, CMS and with ECASE system is highly regarded, above average customer service skills.
  • Competencies: teamwork, professional approach, time management, initiative, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluent and clearly spoken English.
