Position: Part-time

Time: Morning and evening 2 hour shifts 8AM-10AM, midday 12PM-2PM & 6PM-8PM

Days: Regular repeating roster 7 day per week (regular shifts)

Location: Bayswater (travel to and from Bayswater is a requirement)

Initial opportunity is as follows and may expand for a candidate that demonstrates reliability and engages well with clientele.

Care Kin is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker(PCA) in the Bayswater/Wantirna area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by facilitating their participation and engagement within the local community.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
  • Respect clients' choices, dignity, and independence
  • Monitor Oxygen Staturation
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Facilitate engagemnt with community
  • Assist in keeping the residence maintained
  • Provide Personal Care Assistance (PCA) - Showering, toiletting, etc.

Requirements:

  • ABN
  • Experience working with individuals with physical and mental disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • National Police Check
