Mornington Mitsubishi & Isuzu UTE is a proud family-run dealership with a strong reputation for quality and customer service. We're currently seeking a qualified mechanic with a current Victorian Roadworthy Licence to join our team in a full-time, workshop-based role.

This position focuses on used car coordination, roadworthy inspections, and accessory fitting for both new and used vehicles.

About the Role

As our Used Car Coordinator & Accessory Fitter, you'll be responsible for getting vehicles sale-ready - ensuring they are roadworthy, well-presented, and fitted with the correct accessories. It's a practical, hands-on role that's central to keeping our inventory in top condition and our customers satisfied.

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

  1. Conducting Victorian roadworthy inspections and preparing used vehicles for RWC compliance
  2. Performing mechanical assessments and minor repairs on used vehicles
  3. Fitting accessories such as towbars, canopies, nudge bars, trays, etc.
  4. Coordinating used vehicle flow through the workshop and detail / prep stages
  5. Assisting with trade-in inspections and vehicle movement
  6. Working closely with the sales and service teams to meet delivery timelines

What You'll Need :

  1. Automotive trade qualification (Cert III Light Vehicle)
  2. Current Victorian Roadworthy Licence (VicRoads accredited tester) - Essential
  3. Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
  4. Experience with accessory fitting (or willingness to learn)
  5. Manual driver's licence
  6. A proactive, team-first attitude
