Are you a compassionate and organised individual who thrives in a client-facing role? Do you want to be part of a progressive and supportive veterinary team? We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist (Client Relations) to join our growing team. Your communication and coordination skills will play a vital role in supporting our clients and their pets.

About us :

Tooronga Veterinary Hospital opened in May 2024 and has rapidly expanded to a team of 25 dedicated staff. We are co-located with two other independent businesses – a 24 / 7 Emergency and ICU service (AES) and a Specialist Centre (MARS) – creating a unique collaborative environment for delivering excellence in veterinary care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver an exceptional first impression to clients both in person and over the phone.
  • Manage appointment bookings and coordinate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient journey.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners about their pet's care, hospital admissions, and discharge procedures.
  • Process payments, invoices, and insurance paperwork.
  • Support the smooth running of daily hospital operations through attention to detail and proactive organisation.
  • Assist with the practice's marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to a warm and welcoming front-of-house environment that reflects our high standards of care and empathy.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • Experience in a veterinary or medical reception role is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a calm, friendly manner under pressure.
  • Proficient computer and administrative skills (experience with EzyVet is an advantage but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to multitask.
