We are a growing plumbing company with a reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. With a diverse range of projects across commercial, and industrial sectors, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Workshop/Operations Manager to join our team and oversee the smooth running of our operations.
The RoleAs the Workshop/Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all workshop and operational activities run efficiently and effectively. You will coordinate staff, manage schedules, oversee inventory, and implement processes to maintain a safe, organised, and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day workshop operations, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Oversee inventory, tools, and equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate with project managers and tradespeople to ensure timely job completion.
- Monitor workflows and implement process improvements.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers where required.
- Servicing fleet of cars.
- Managing the diesel maintenance team.
- Previous experience in a similar operations or workshop management role (plumbing or construction industry highly regarded).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of plumbing tools, equipment, and industry standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
