Overview

Air Liquide Australia is a market leader in gases, technologies and services for industry. This is a full-time opportunity for a Business Development Specialist to join our team based in Fairfield, NSW.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire new business within the region and conduct daily industrial sales activities to achieve sales targets and profitable growth.
  • Generate and maintain a profitable and sustainable business in line with Air Liquide strategic plan and territory targets.
  • Grow the territory by identifying and winning new business opportunities, secure gas/liquid sales where profitable and within company guidelines, and contract with new customers.
  • Produce proposals, detailed costings and contract documents to ensure transactions deliver maximum profit.
  • Monitor market trends through client and supplier engagement and attendance at industry meetings and seminars.
  • Maintain relationships with the team of account managers who will manage existing accounts and assist with newly acquired customers.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • A passion for sales with a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Good personal time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of competitive achievements.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-moving environment.
