Your New Role Looks Like This:

We're looking for a dynamic Communications & Content Manager to bring our brand voice to life – for both our people and our valued members.

In this role, you'll shape communication strategies that connect, inspire, and engage – aligning every message with our Customer Value Proposition (CVP), brand, and business goals.
From crafting compelling stories to streamlining key updates, you'll make sure our messages land with impact, no matter the channel.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead Internal Communications – Design and roll out a framework that keeps our people informed, engaged, and aligned with our values, culture, and business priorities.
Create Content That Connects – Write, edit, and manage engaging stories and updates across channels: intranet, newsletters, leadership updates, digital signage, and more – including content for key events like town halls.
Stay Ahead with Tech – Explore and apply AI tools to create smarter, more personalised content.
Own the Comms Calendar – Ensure messages are timely, relevant, and prioritised.
Monitor performance and continuously refine for maximum impact.
Be the Go-To for Urgent Messaging – Develop a streamlined system to share operational or change alerts quickly and clearly.
Collaborate Across the Business – Work closely with People & Culture, Executive Leadership, Marketing, Digital, and Customer teams to deliver consistent, aligned messaging.
Engage Our Members – Deliver communication strategies that enhance member experiences, retain customers, and bring our CVP to life.
Drive Health Insurance Content Strategy – Create high-impact, content, including our Wellplan Rewards member newsletter andcontent articles, and support customer comms, and nurture journeys.
Support Key Projects – Prioritise, plan, and execute communications that meet business goals, reduce noise, and maximise engagement.

About You:

5+ years previous communications specialist experience in professional services accountable for all communication channels
Relevant tertiary communications / PR or marketing qualifications
Ability to design and implement communication strategies
Excellent written and oral skills at all levels, including copywriting experience for a broad range of channels.
Natural storyteller.
Strong understanding of customer journeys and brand touchpoints.
Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (eg.
Salesforce).
Comfortable with or ready to learn AI-powered tools for copy.
Skilled in creating engaging, high-quality content tailored to various platforms (e.g., newsletters, e DMs, intranet, SMS, Social Media).
Strong organisational skills to manage communication calendars and prioritize initiatives based on impact and urgency.
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Highly developed organisational skills with attention to detail.
