
Business Development Manager And Key Account Manager- Industrial Automation

We are currently seeking a BDM & Key Account Manager specialising in all manner of Industrial Automation and Digital Technologies, in a variety of commercial modes including Saa S, to strengthen strategic partnerships and drive growth across a defined customer portfolio.

About the Role As a BDM & Key Account Manager, you will be the key point of contact for our new and existing valued clients, responsible for growing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating across teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Your ability to foster long-term client relationships and navigate complex project environments will be crucial to your success.
What you'll do: Manage and grow key customer relationships through structured account management.
Identify, qualify, and develop strategic solution sales opportunities within your assigned territory.
Contribute to a unified Solutions Sales strategy across business units in Australia and New Zealand.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project handover, execution and implementation.
Achieve sales targets and support the financial performance of your territory.
Lead solution and service presentations that demonstrate Yokogawa's value to clients.
What you'll bring: You're an engaging, proactive professional with a strong track record in sales, business development and account management.
Customer service-oriented mindset, with analytical thinking skills and a self-motivated, assertive, solution-focused approach.
Key Account Management – developing understanding with stakeholders in a variety of roles in client organisations.
Initiative, we seek those that can think on their feet, get clarity, navigate complexity and assist stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
A collaborative approach to teamwork with an excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to deliver results in a dynamic and multi-stakeholder environment.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking capabilities, able to handle and maintain multiple projects at different stages.
A foundation & understanding of Electrical Engineering or relevant experience in a comparable field or demonstrate your ability to learn and understand.
Experience in the industrial automation or engineering space is an advantage; however we are open to discussions with highly skilled salespeople from technical B2 B markets.
