The role: As the Education Manager – Distributor/Indirect, you will be at the forefront of Kao's salon education initiatives, driving growth and excellence across our premium brands: The role: As the Education Manager – Distributor/Indirect, you will be at the forefront of Kao's salon education initiatives, driving growth and excellence across our premium brands: Goldwell, KMS, Kerasilk, and Oribe.
You'll lead the development and execution of education plans, coach distributor educators and artists, and manage national artist programs to ensure top-tier training and brand representation.
Sydney based applicants preferred but we also welcome applicants from Melbourne and Brisbane.
What you will do: Education Strategy & Planning - Develop annual education tactics aligned with Kao ANZ strategies, including salon acquisition and academy attendance initiatives.
Capability Development - Coach and train distributor educators and internal teams, lead bi-annual education summits, and drive upskilling across the network.
Artist Program Management - Recruit, certify, and mentor national artists, ensuring high standards at all major education events.
Reporting & Strategic Input - Provide monthly qualitative and quantitative education reports and contribute ideas to enhance company goals.
What you will need: Minimum 10 years' experience in hairstyling across a full range of services.
Proven experience as an educator in key accounts.
Formal qualification in Hairdressing and a valid driver's license.
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to change, and think creatively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
