Cibaria Manly is a beachside Italian venue that will offer a diverse selection of 'rias' as our menu will explore all of the goodness that Italian food and drinks are well-known for.The Café Manager will oversee the daily operations of the café, manage the team, monitor financial performance, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain quality control.
Additionally, our Café Manager will have prior experience with café operations management, well versed in Australia's coffee culture and knows how to create a seven day roster.Essential Requirements:Fluent in English, spoken and writtenHold a current RSA CertificateFull Australian working rights Computer literacy is a mustMinimum 1 year in café or restaurant managementCoffee & Food knowledge Polite personal manner, both face to face and over the phone Understanding of hospitality cost control measuresAbility to keep cool under pressureStrong team leading skills Excellent attention to detailExcellent grooming standardsHours can vary and include weekend and holiday workPreferred Requirements:

• Basic cocktail & bar experience Your tasks and responsibilities:Ensuring the smooth and consistent delivery of cafe serviceLiaising with suppliers & negotiating the best prices to maximise GPOngoing staff performance management Maintaining the gelato & pastry counterManage the team and oversee day-to-day operations of the caféMonitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure quality control of food and beverage itemsTrack financial performance, revenue, expenses, and profitability, and make strategic decisions to maximize profitabilityEnsure customer satisfaction by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, resolving complaints, and upholding customer service best practicesCollaborate with the team to ensure a friendly and efficient customer experienceEnsure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met, food and equipment are properly stored and maintained, and staff is trained to adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulationsDevelop and implement marketing plans and promotionsCollaborate with external stakeholders to expand and retain the customer baseSo what's in it for you?
