KPay secures a record USD55 million in 2024, marking the largest series A fundraise globally in the payments sector of the year.Role Overview: We're looking for a dynamic Partnership Associate to drive partnership acquisition, onboard strategic partners, close high-value deals, and manage cross-functional teams and projects.
This role combines business development, relationship management, and operational leadership to scale KPay's partnerships and revenue streams.We're seeking hardworking, fast-learning, and results-driven candidates who are open to travel and can thrive and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.Key Responsibilities:1.
Partnership Development & Merchant Onboarding: Source and build partnership pipeline for AUS market including POS systems, accounting software, etc.
Help channel partners identify, negotiate, and onboard high-potential merchants and strategic partners to expand KPay's ecosystem.
Own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle: prospecting, pitching, contract negotiation, and onboarding.
Collaborate with legal, product, and compliance teams to streamline merchant onboarding processes.2.
Lead Management & Revenue Growth: Actively chase, qualify, and track leads from channel partnerships Develop tailored solutions for partners, ensuring alignment with KPay's product offerings and market needs.
Maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools and provide regular forecasts to leadership.3.
Team & Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to execute partnership initiatives and merchant integrations.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
Mentor junior team members and foster a high-performance culture.4.
Performance Optimization: Track KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, merchant activation, revenue impact) and refine strategies for scalability.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify whitespace opportunities.
Design playbooks and best practices for partnership expansion and merchant success.Requirements: First round case study is required No prior experience needed—we value hard work, passion, and a willingness to learn above all.
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Excel, and analytics.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
