Synergie Australia is seeking a qualified ASD Tug Boat Operator to join the Port & Logistics team for a FIFO site in the Northern Territory.
The important parts:

7 days on / 7 days off FIFO roster with charter points from Cairns or Darwin (travel from other locations at applicant's expense)
Excellent flat hourly rate: $67.50 – $70.00/hr
ASAP start with ongoing employment opportunities for the right candidate

What you will be required to do:

Perform harbour towage operations as per the site's operational plan
Command the tug and crew when acting as Master
Fulfil the role of Engineer when not performing Master duties
Oversee and conduct preventative, corrective and statutory maintenance of the vessel
Manage SAP work orders for all vessel maintenance activities

To be successful in the role you will have (or willingness to obtain):

Candidates who hold either ASD Master under 24 OR 45m Near Coastal Certificate of Competency or equivalent will be considered
Long Range Operator Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP) or its equivalent certification
Engineer Class 3 (MED1 with sea time may be considered)
Valid AMSA Medical (relevant to your Co C)
Current MSIC or Job Ready MSIC Application
Provide First Aid & CPR certification (Statements of Attainment)
Manual driver's licence
Have working rights in Australia
Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role.
