Solutions Architect And Engineer – Ms Exchange

This role is ideal for a seasoned Exchange specialist who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to communicate effectively, self-manage, and drive results in a complex enterprise environment.
WHAT'S ON OFFER:$1000 a day + GST St Kilda road location Exchange services to M365 and Proof Point Leading healthcare provider.
THE ROLE: Lead the discovery and analysis of on-prem Exchange infrastructure, including mail relay, mailboxes (user & shared), and other resources/services.
Design a comprehensive Exchange Migration Strategy and deliver solution architecture aligned to business requirements.
Conduct workshops with stakeholders to validate migration design and plan.
Develop and execute a detailed migration plan, covering quick wins, SMTP relay cutover to Proof Point, mailbox migrations, and other resources.
Write and execute Power Shell scripts to automate migration processes.
Oversee and support data cleansing activities prior to migration.
Commence infrastructure, systems SMTP, and mailbox migrations in alignment with the migration plan.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Extensive experience in design and engineering with Exchange and messaging technologies.
Strong on-prem Exchange expertise with recent, hands-on migration experience to M365 Exchange.
Proven experience with Proof Point mail hygiene and mail relay solutions.
Solid understanding of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration.
Advanced Power Shell scripting skills.
Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
Highly organised and able to work autonomously to deliver on agreed outcomes.
