Responsibilities
Serves as a System Applications and Products (SAP) Portfolio Manager (Pf M) for the SAP Platform in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations, J-6, Program Executive Office (PEO).
Acts as Pf M for Platform Development, architecting, designing, developing, testing, and deploying secure software solutions to implement functionality into ERP systems.
Provides visionary leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
Uses strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate, inspire, and empower team members; manages conflict to drive portfolio objectives and rapid delivery of software solutions.
Provides program management oversight for the acquisition of corporate IT systems, including major AIS and SAP products.
Ensures adherence to cost, schedule, and performance targets; responsible for successful execution of assigned portfolios and efficiency in IT acquisition programs.
Customizes COTS when standard capabilities do not satisfy requirements; guides the introduction of Government Off-the-Shelf products into the ERP.
Oversees software sustainment, provides customer service, and resolves software-related incidents; reviews and accepts ERP deliverables.
Ensures ERP solutions are implemented in accordance with the SAP Platform Software Development Life Cycles.
Supports software modernization and sustainment for Enterprise Business System (EBS), Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), and Warehouse Management System (WMS); supports DSS, EWM, and TM.
Serves as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned system applications and product programs.
Executes sustainment, transformation, and leadership to deliver DLA ERP support across emerging systems and enhancements.
Directs requirements interpretation into configuration of COTS software; identifies process and performance gaps and oversees solution designs to address gaps.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory IT Program Manager (APPSW/ SYSANALYSIS), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience in the competencies needed for the duties of this position.
To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems.
Creditable specialized experience includes:
Provides portfolio management oversight for system applications and products with full control and authority over assigned mission operations.
Executes mission oversight and coordination for architecting, designing, developing, testing, and deploying secure software solutions for designated systems.
Interprets requirements and business objectives to ensure optimal solution performance.
Applies risk management techniques within program constraints to identify risks, assess impact, and develop mitigation strategies to deliver intended capabilities.
Education: Education cannot be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work.
You will receive credit for qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
