About the opportunity We are creating a new opportunity for a Head of Finance to join our team, partnering with our retail and corporate functions.
This pivotal role leads financial strategy and performance across key business functions, directly influencing Australia Post's transformation and growth.
As a senior finance leader, you'll partner with executive teams to drive enterprise-wide reform, sustainability, and innovation.

What you'll deliver with us Reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO), the Head of Finance for Retail, Brand & Marketing, Enterprise Services, and Corporate will work closely with EGMs and leadership teams across these functions to ensure the successful delivery of Australia Post's Corporate Plan and strategic objectives.
You'll also Lead financial forecasting and budgeting processes for the Retail, Brand & Marketing, Enterprise Services, and Corporate business units, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the Corporate Plan and reporting.
Partner with the GM, Retail Product & Supply Chain, to ensure retail products remain profitable and compliant with ACCC Record Keeping Rules.
Collaborate with the GM, Retail Operations, to support the profitability of the Post Office Network (PON) and Licensed Post Offices (LPOs), while ensuring robust governance over franchisee payments.
Identify and drive opportunities to streamline operations and achieve cost reduction targets across retail, brand & marketing, enterprise services, and corporate functions.
Work with the Head of Marketing to ensure annual marketing investment delivers measurable ROI, supported by effective reporting frameworks.
About you You are an experienced finance leader who has worked across large, complex organisations with multi-product revenue streams.
You'll also Have experience influencing management at all levels within complex environments.
Experience partnering with complex third parties to deliver value.
Ability to navigate periods of rapid and large-scale change, especially as the business transitions from a monopoly-based letters business to a highly competitive, rapidly growing parcels business.
Experience developing and leading high-performing teams.
Degree qualified in finance and accounting, preferably with an MBA, and deep commercial acumen.
CPA / CA ANZ qualified and registered.
Expertise in finance, accounting, risk, compliance practices, regulation, and compliance requirements according to ATO, ASIC, and other legislative bodies.
