About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Effectively manage accounts receivable operational functions and the positions responsible for these functions for the Hospital and Health Service.
Oversee and review invoicing processes and reconciliations as required.
Ensure that revenue related end of month reporting, journals, accruals and reconciliations are accurately completed, ensuring that, where applicable, revenue is devolved in a timely and accurate manner.
Provide expert guidance on legislative frameworks, financial management practices, policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and best practice in relation to Hospital revenue.
Manage and review the effectiveness of operational functions against key performance indicators including revenue generation, satisfaction, invoice generation, and reporting.
