Role Type: 12-month full time contract Salary: $86,165 - $108,187 per annum plus superannuation About The Role The Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH) at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) is seeking a dedicated and driven Project Officer to support the delivery of exciting new and ongoing evaluation and evidence-informed action projects.
As part of the Systems Impact (SI) team, you will contribute to innovative projects that adopt a whole-of-system, ecological approach to improving child health, development and wellbeing.
Projects may focus on designing and evaluating early childhood services, community-based initiatives, and policy improvements — always with a commitment to equity and real-life impact.
Responsibilities Participate in evaluation and action research activities Apply human-centred design and quality improvement methods Utilise systems thinking and evidence synthesis Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders from diverse families to service providers and policymakers Your Responsibilities Include Assist with design and delivery of evaluation and action projects Conduct mixed methods research including focus groups, interviews, and surveys Draft high-quality reports and summaries Help design and facilitate project-related workshops and reflection sessions Contribute to ethics applications and approvals (e.g.
RISEC)What We Need From You Tertiary qualification in relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Evaluation, Psychology, Social Policy, Allied Health)Experience in evaluation and/or research and/or other evidence-informed action methodologies including mixed methods data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis and reporting Project management capability Ability to synthesise and disseminate complex information clearly and concisely Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with experience engaging and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders For full viewing of responsibilities and requirements please refer to the position description.
