About The Role Make the next step in your career by joining a dynamic and growing business within the Health Food sector.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will support the commercial side to our business as we continue our growth journey.
The role will be critical in ensuring the accuracy of our new trade promotion system, manage trade spend, customer claims and pricing while delivering accurate financial reporting and insights.
You'll work closely with the Head of Commercial Finance, our Sales, Supply Chain, and broader Finance team to support commercial decisions, ensure system accuracy, and contribute to new product development.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-pace, collaborative environment with a strong focus on data integrity and process improvement.
You will play a key role in connecting with our Sales and customer service teams on a daily basis.
The role will be split between our Cremorne demand hub and Clayton site.
What you'll be doing Trade Promotion Management & Claims Management: Leveraging Jahan.ai, our new Trade Promotion Management platform, upload customer claims, reconciling the claims against promotional accruals and agreements.
Work closely with account managers to resolve over/under claims, disputes, and other financial discrepancies Customer Pricing & Trade Agreements: Maintain up-to-date customer price lists and trade agreements in our ERP (Microsoft Dynamics)NPD and New Projects: Prepare financial inputs into NPD business cases by working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance and relevant project teams, with the focus on reviewing product costings and margin calculations.
Data and Reporting: Ensure product setup and classifications are maintained and validated Regular reporting on product profitability by channel, category and ensure that commercial insights generated are actioned through the S&OP process.
Month end processing: Responsible for month end accounting and report for demand budgets – including Trade Spend, Advertising & Promotion and Sales / Marketing overheads.
About You We are looking for a passionate, collaborative and detailed-oriented individual to join our Finance team, Ability and desire to leverage data, systems and AI to drive improvements and efficiencies Ability to build strong working relationships across other functions in the business.
Strong attention to detail, analytical and data management skills.
Proficiency in Excel, experience with Power BI, D365 (Microsoft Dynamics) or similar ERP is a plus.1-2 years' Finance experience, ideally in larger company.
Big 4 or accounting practice experience a plus.
Qualification/s Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Ideally CA, CPA or equivalent, qualified or studying towards a CA, CPA or equivalent qualification.
