This role will report to the Compliance Director.
Position: Client Manager Key Objective of the Position: To prepare financial statements and tax returns for clients.
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Preparation of Income Tax Returns, Financial Statements, & other compliance needs for companies, trusts, partnerships & sole traders Preparation of tax advice to clients Managing Division 7 A loans within large family groups Preparing tax effect accounting entries for large companies and liaising with auditors Review of Business Activity Statements Preparation of FBT returns Preparation of all Australian Taxation Office forms for clients Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients Liaising directly with clients in relation to their compliance work Working with the directors for large clients Helping to solve technical tax issues for clients Provide instruction & support to the bookkeeping team Do you have: CA/CPA qualifications or working towards this?5+ years experience in similar role?Experience with Xero Practice Manager & Xero Tax?Strong technical skills in relation to taxation?Strong technical skills in relation to Division 7 A and tax effect accounting?Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise directly with clients?Excellent accuracy and time management skills?A passion for exceptional client service?The ability to work independently and as part of a team?If so, we'd love to hear from you.
