About the Role: Are you a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Educator looking for a fulfilling role in a warm, community-focused early learning environment? Tradewind is currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded Early Learning Centre located in the heart of North Carlton.
We are seeking a Certificate III qualified Early Childhood Educator to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis, with an immediate start available.
Key duties:
Identify and cater for individual learner needs and maintain child safety at all times
Provide an environment that promotes the cognitive, physical, emotional, social and intellectual wellbeing of all students
Work closely with parents regarding the progress and development of their children
Participate in the creation, development and evaluation of curriculum
Stay informed regarding current trends, early childhood practices and curriculum and resource developments
Required Qualifications & Attributes:
Cert III in Early Childhood Education (or ACEQUA equivalent)
Up to date First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management qualifications
Current WWCC - Employee
Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Years (or willingness to undertake training)
Current Right to work in Australia
Skills & Experience:
Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a permanent Cert III Educator position in an Early Childhood setting
Ability to implement flexible and responsive routines with experience in progressive mealtimes
The ability to be adaptable, team-orientated and show very strong pedagogical knowledge of the Early years Curriculum and EYLF
Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and demonstrate a competent level of English, both written and spoken
