ECT Full time  - Early Childhood Teacher

About us:

Cuddlepie Early Childhood Learning Centre a Community Based not-for-profit long daycare centre  located in the small town of Wingham. We cater for 47 children per day for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years and offer a preschool program for children transitioning to main stream schooling. We have been operating in the local community for more then 30 years.

Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
  • Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences for all children
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of children's progress, development and learning
  • Effectively manage children's behaviours in accordance with centre policy
  • Attend and run meetings as required
  • Communicate effectively with and build strong, positive relationships with all children, families and educators

Essential criteria

  • Must hold an Early Childhood Teacher degree or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Hold current Teachers Registration
  • Hold a current First Aid Qualification (centre based)
  • Current WWCC
  • Experience leading a program
  • Confident with the use of technology
