Job Opportunity:

Key Role in Early Childhood Education

This is a significant position at an educational institution where you will be responsible for educating and caring for a group of children. You will work under the guidance of the Director and Educational Leader to develop, plan and implement an early childhood program that aligns with nationally approved learning frameworks and the ethos of the institution.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote and engage in the institution's ethos by embedding Christ into educational programs and practice.
  • Support the Lead Educator in planning, preparing and delivering effective learning and teaching programs for every child using government-approved learning frameworks.
  • Be focused, active and reflective when contributing to the design and delivery of whole group, small group and individualised learning programs.
  • Use evidence-based and age-appropriate methods of assessment to collect data on children's progress.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with families, professionals, community groups and/or research organisations.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Education and Care or an ACEQA recognised equivalent qualification and/or Diploma in Education and Care.
  • First Aid Qualifications – including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
