Procurement Lead

Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Procurement Leadto join our team in our Brisbane office.
About the role Lead a team responsible for negotiating the best value, performing strategic analysis and decision-making to support the project execution plan Manage the procurement of machinery and equipment for EPCM projects, ensuring compliance to procurement schedules, tenderers lists, package lists and live project data while maintaining strict adherence to procurement procedures Support project initiative by aligning with Engineering, Construction and Cost Control and providing direction in supplier evaluation, selection & management of purchasing and subcontract agreement negotiations, analytics, and pricing reviews Delegate appropriate responsibilities and assignments to team members Contribute to ongoing system development and improvement to mature procurement tools About you Tertiary qualified Diploma / Degree in Business or technical field.
Extensive experience in the management of procurement and contracting activities in an EPC and EPCM environment Exceptional interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience, including negotiation and relationship-building.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point) Proven experience in the use of Hexagon ERP system - Smart Plant Materials desired Strong verbal and written communication skills, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities Experience in the mining and minerals sector will be highly regarded.
