A highly experienced and skilled Procurement Director is required to lead a complex alliance initiative that will shape the region.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for steering the project from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and effective stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing project costs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, a proven track record in procurement project delivery, and the ability to optimize project delivery while minimizing risks.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving results-oriented projects.
  • Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary Qualification: A degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proven expertise in procurement strategies, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
