Systems Administrator

We are seeking a Library Application Systems Administrator to manage and support the client library management systems. This role involves ensuring seamless operations, enhancing system functionality and supporting staff in the effective use of these systems. Responsibilities: Administer and maintain library management systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff and users across all platforms.Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades, updates and enhancements.Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration, processes and procedures.Train library staff on system functionalities and best practices.Ensure data integrity and security within the library management systems.Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement necessary changes.Coordinate with vendors for system support and maintenance.Stay aligned with current business processes and needs, identifying the most efficient methods to achieve desired outcomes through process redesign and software enhancements via APIs and scripts. Qualifications: Proven experience in managing and administering library management systems.Strong technical skills in system configuration, troubleshooting and support.Familiarity with library operations and workflows.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Experience with API integration and script development.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Relevant qualifications in information technology, library science, or a related field.Australian National Police Check required not older than 12 months.
