About the role

We are seeking for an experienced Contracts and Commercial Manager that will join our team on the METRONET Midland Station project as part of the Midland Junction Alliance.- Reviewing subcontract, supplier and consultant contract forms ensuring appropriate forms are utilized.


  • Work with the Project Manager/Director to develop and prosecute the project commercial strategy.
  • Ensuring training activities are planned to meet current and future needs of the project to enhance the commercial position of the project.
  • Ensuring appropriate RACI matrix is in place to properly define responsibility and accountability for commercial activities within the project.
  • Taking responsibility and being accountable for all commercial activities required for the success of the project.

About you

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Finance, Accountancy, Law, Quantity Surveying or similar and/or substantial senior Contract Administration experience
  • Extensive experience in a Commercial Manager role in civil engineering or similar
  • Demonstrated understanding of a variety of the Contracts and Subcontracts adopted by the Company.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake forecasting activities and reviewing of forecast positions.
  • Strong commercial acumen accompanied by proven negotiation and interrelationship skills evidenced by effective dispute resolutions.
