About the Opportunity

The primary purpose of the Contracts Manager role is to provide commercial support and contractual leadership to a growing portfolio of complex and diverse projects across our business streams.

The successful individual for this role will demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and time management skills.

They will be a strong communicator and have the ability to maintain positive and collaborative working relationships.

This role can be either Perth-based, or site-based (9:5 roster), depending on your preference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing key risks and negotiating contractual terms with clients and subcontractors;
  • Supporting and training tender and project teams throughout the project lifecycle on contract interpretation and best practice contract management, including developing contract administration tools and templates;
  • Preparing and negotiating legal and commercial terms of subcontracts;
  • Ensuring project compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant company policies and procedures.
About You

We are looking for an ambitious and hands-on Contracts Manager who is looking to be challenged and step into a growing and successful team.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management;
  • 10+ years experience in a Contracts Management role in a construction/projects environment;
  • Strong planning and organisational skills;
  • Strong communication and mitigation skills;
  • A professional demeanour and strong relationship-building skills.
