School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
About the role
The primary purpose of the role is to engage, collaborate and consult with a range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and create effective and efficient compliance systems/ processes, in relation to environmental legislative compliance and policy requirements.

Essential requirements of the role
·Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental sciences, environmental management, or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
Key knowledge and experience
·Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
About you
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic, forward-thinking team, within a flexible work environment. The desired candidate will have experience in the areas of public and/or environmental health, relating to legislative compliance and/or Environmental Management experience. The candidate will be able to work well independently to drive their own projects and initiatives to achieve quality outcomes to meet the business needs.
With your high level analytical and research skills you will apply these to current issues and priorities to support and enhance environmental management and compliance within School Infrastructure NSW. You will participate in inspections and investigations in relation to environmental regulations proactively identifying and assessing compliance issues and risks.
Your expertise will enable you to effectively engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate positive stakeholder engagement which you will achieve through a highly collaborative approach seeing you succeed in building strong working relationships. Your communication skills will see you provide effective advice to teams across the organisation while balancing competing demands and priorities to deliver agreed work assignments within required deadlines.
