How will I help?


Reporting to the Program Director, as a Project Portfolio Coordinator, you will sit within the PMO team and support the BTFG Divisional Portfolio Office.

You will provide high quality coordination, communication, governance, reporting, and information management supporting the work of the Portfolio Office.

You will:

  • Provide support to the Portfolio Director and Program Directors to recommend actions regarding consistent management of the projects with the portfolio.
  • Report on whether the portfolio is delivering capabilities in line with the baselined scope, schedule, costs, and benefits in line with the agreed investment plans.
  • Work with programlevel PMOs to drive consistency in reporting and utilization of tools and coordinate portfolio level escalations of actions risks issues, dependencies, and achievements.
  • Monitor and coordinate portfolio reporting timelines and structures and collate Portfolio level financial data produced by Enterprise Project Finance
  • Consistent engagement with the broader PIO Strategic Program Delivery PMO Team
  • Work with PMOs for each Program to ensure project dependencies are identified and monitored to avoid material impacts to the project,
  • Establish clear accountabilities and performance management structures and manage the workload of the PMO and the prioritisation of adhoc work requests vs core deliverables.
  • Assist the Program Directors to coach, mentor and onboard the team as required.

What do I need?

  • Demonstrated experience as a Portfolio Coordinator within a medium to large program/project.
  • Experience with consolidation reporting and remediation projects.
  • Experience working on compliance, legislative or transformation programs
  • Project experience within the banking/financial services space is highly desirable
  • Experience in using SharePoint and/or Intranet, JIRA and Clarity is highly desirable
  • Highly organised with an attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
  • P3O Accreditation is highly desirable
