The Group Project and Portfolio Management Office (P&PMO) provides centralised project governance, project and change management support and enterprise project portfolio management services.

This role will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the project and change management team deliver the project portfolio. With a focus on execution quality, consistent and scalable processes, this role will ensure day to day project and portfolio governance and reporting is executed well and runs smoothly.

What you'll do
  • Enterprise Project Portfolio Management: Manage new work intake, track portfolio changes, support project prioritization, and develop insightful reporting using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira Align.
  • Execution Excellence: Create and maintain project management standards, tools, and templates, drive smooth operating rhythms for key activities such as status reporting and steering committees, and manage the Group P&PMO Governance & Reporting Calendar.
  • Project & Team Administration: Provide administrative support to the team, assist the General Manager with diary management, coordinate meetings and workshops, and ensure quality outputs across the portfolio.
  • Service Delivery & Continuous Improvement: Enhance the Group's project management capabilities, stay updated with industry trends, advocate for the value of project management, and promote awareness of its benefits across the group.
  • Portfolio Reporting: Develop insightful reports for decision-making and performance tracking, use tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira Align, and ensure timely and relevant communication of portfolio information to stakeholders.
What we're looking for
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience
  • 2+ years as a Portfolio, PMO Analyst, or Project Administrator
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2)
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and preferably Jira Align
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience in Wealth Management and/or Superannuation Industry
