About the Opportunity
As Officer, Accounts Payable, you will be a key member of the Financial Accounting Team within Strategic Planning, Finance and Performance Branch.
Accounting operations primarily involve processing expenditure transactions and cash movements through the general and subsidiary ledgers of Finance One, including accounts payable and receivable, taxation, and general accounts like credit cards, petty cash, and banking.
In this role, your focus will be on implementing efficient processes using well-configured financial systems and data structures, and standard work practices to maintain high data integrity levels.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the transactions within AUSTRAC and collaborate closely with business units to ensure accurate processing of source documents.
If you have excellent communication and organizational skills, we encourage you to apply. What are we looking for:
- Experience in FMIS software, Finance One, e-invoices, and Microsoft Excel is highly regarded but not essential.
