Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounts payable team, ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review, verify, and approve invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and handle complex payment issues or inquiries.
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Continuously improve AP processes and identify opportunities for efficiency gains.
  • Support internal and external audits related to accounts payable functions.
About You

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and leadership skills. You will have a proven track record in an accounts payable role, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with SAP or accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and support a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Must have the rights to work in Australia and be willing to undertake a Criminal History Check.
