The Head of Culture, Talent & People Development provides specialist advice and support for Australia and New Zealand as part of the Human Resources team.

As a key member of the ANZ HR Leadership team, the role assumes strategic responsibility for leading a team of professionals delivering on organisational culture, talent management, inclusion, equity & belonging, leadership capability and people development including behavioural and new starter skills.


Top Role Accountabilities:

  • Ownership of the organisational strategic culture agenda including OCI/OEI survey, reporting, culture coach cohort and ongoing activities
  • Leading a management team who drive the leadership development agenda and build capabilities cross the business
  • AU & NZ. This includes execution of the Rabobank Leadership Pathways, Ignite and core curriculum programs
  • Lead an inclusive culture through the Rabobank Inclusion, Equity & Belonging strategy
  • Developing skilled and capable leaders who deliver on excellent customer service. This includes supporting the approach to Talent Management and succession planning
  • Ownership of HR input on portfolio remit via Board People and Remuneration Committee and Executive report / paper writing
  • Partnering with the HR team to empower employees in alignment with strategic and cultural vision
  • Strategic oversight of the learning technology approach (in alignment with Global). This includes Workday Learning and Rabobank Global Learning Library

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, leading and developing a team, as well as owning and delivering OD strategy in a change environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources, adult learning, organisational development, strategy, or business/commerce
  • Accreditation in a range of diagnostic tools (such as Human Synergistics)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Business acumen / Financial Services Industry knowledge
  • Extensive analytical skills, and a highlevel of attention to detail
  • Strategic thinking / knowledge leader
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
