An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Risk Officer to join our Governance team. In this permanent position you'll be responsible for embedding the Risk Management Framework across the organisation, working alongside a small and dedicated team that are experts in providing our organisation with governance advice and developing robust frameworks.

You'll be working full time, 70 hours per fortnight, and will primarily be based at our Corporate Centre in Goonellabah.

What we trust you to deliver

  • Experience in undertaking research and analysing data and information.
  • Ability to report on progress and outcomes clearly, concisely, and accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and engage staff in improving processes and systems and delivering innovative solutions.

What you'll need to be successful

  • TAFE Certificate Level 4 Qualification or higher, in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Be able to solve problems using logic and a common sense approach.
  • The ability to liaise and work with various teams to achieve an outcome.
  • The ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver through to an end conclusion.
  • Personal integrity and be able to take responsibility.
