About the Role


The Contract Manager - Security is required to coordinate, review and evaluate building security activities for Shire maintained buildings and in doing so, ensure buildings are always fit for purpose, provide safe environments, are well maintained and meet legislative requirements.

Reporting to the Coordinator - Buildings Maintenance the core responsibilities include:

  • Manage the delivery of the security function to ensure contractors are providing cost effective security/maintenance services.
  • Monitor worksite safety of contractors and subcontractors to ensure risks related to provision of maintenance services are appropriately managed.
  • Work with contractors, internal teams and community to develop and implement an annual electronic access program.
  • Actively work towards delivering continuous improvement.

About You

  • Experience and knowledge of the Integrity Access Control system
  • Experience of CCTV and Key Management Systems would be an advantage
  • High level of problem solving and decisionmaking ability
  • Team and Relationships focused
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
