About the role


Want to feel like you're giving back to clinical research? You'll be part of the team will help to deliver and oversee ethical and site-specific review of clinical research and management of our multiple Ethics Committees.

You'll have an opportunity to design cutting edge training and research support programs that will further influence Austin Health's clinical researchers and outcomes.

You'll have a Bachelors or Post-graduate degree in Biomedical sciences, and will have experience in research ethics and a sound understanding of research logistics that are required prior to and after starting a research project.

Essential Knowledge and skills:

  • Experience in the review and interpretation of research projects and research agreements.
  • Experience in preparing and managing research projects, including design, tracking and postapproval requirements (such as safety, annual and final reports).
  • Experience in writing clear, concise procedures and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience, including timely, efficient and effective minutetaking and record
- keeping

  • Demonstrated ability and performance in data collection, analysis, interpretation and report writing
  • Track record in customer service including excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven time management skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team where knowledge and experience is shared across areas of expertise.
