We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant to join our Ethics and Independence team within Risk Management at KPMG. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with our engagement acceptance policies and identifying potential conflicts of interest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough conflict of interest checks in our Risk Management System, Sentinel.
  • Liaise with Divisional Risk Management Partners and team members to address potential commercial conflicts.
  • Collaborate with engagement teams to assess parties involved and services provided.
  • Liaise with global conflicts teams at other KPMG member firms.
  • Communicate with engagement teams on identified conflicts and provide guidance on processes and procedures.
  • Respond to queries from staff and partners in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with Global Business Operations for action items and requirements.
  • Assist users in getting the best value from Sentinel and integrated systems.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain user documentation and guidance.
  • Provide support to other Ethics and Independence team members as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Apply innovative techniques for process improvements and commit to delivering high-quality service.
  • Remain resilient under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Develop processes or procedures that create efficiencies internally or for the business.
  • Identify solutions and provide adequate rationale.
  • Build effective relationships with KPMG partners and staff.
Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an office environment or customer-facing business.
  • Experience in using Microsoft products, particularly Dynamics CRM.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Comfortable working with multiple systems and high volumes of data.
  • Ability to use various techniques to identify and analyze issues.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional and confident communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
