About the role and team


This is a dynamic and varied role where you'll support a Senior Leader in a Critical Function within Bendigo and Adelaide Bank.

You will have administrative responsibilities such as diary management, travel arrangements, lodging invoices and corporate card reconciliation, inbox management and responding on behalf of accordingly.

You'll also be responsible for attending meetings and taking notes, supporting staff member on-boarding and off-boarding, and administering and updating documents on SharePoint, as well as assisting with putting together agendas or PowerPoint decks as required - ensuring everything has been taken care of and runs smoothly due to your exceptional organisational skills.


No two days will be the same as you seamlessly juggle multiple competing priorities, constantly adapting your communication style for various audiences, and recognising that you are often privy to sensitive and confidential information.

There's plenty of opportunity to make this role your own showcasing your outstanding attention to detail, as well as adding value with your own ideas and input.

All your administrative experience and creative spark can be combined within a collaborative, open-minded environment where best practices prevail.

This role can be based in one of our main office locations in Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide, Sydney, or Brisbane.

Whilst hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today, you'll be required to come in into the office a minimum of two days per week.


About you

To be successful in the role, you'll have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role as a Team Coordinator, Executive Assistant, or equivalent in a medium to large complex environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated capabilities in the Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, and Visio)
  • Proven ability to make decisions, manage multiple competing tasks, and reprioritise constantly
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence dealing with different personality types and stakeholders at all levels across the enterprise
  • Maturity, resilience, and a calm disposition coupled with energy, enthusiasm, and a collaborative mindset
  • Prior knowledge of banking industry policies, procedures, and structure frameworks will be highly regarded but are not essential
