About the Unit


The future, arts, science and technology laboratory (FASTLab) is an international collaborative hub based in the University's College of Human and Social Futures.


Be challenged and imagine with us

In this role you will:

  • Provide support and advice to advance FASTlab's research agenda with the College of Human and Social Futures
  • Manage the daytoday operations of FASTLab
  • Expect to be liaising with clients and interacting with colleagues locally, nationally and internationally
  • Support the delivery of live projects
  • Handle logistics, draft contracts, order equipment, organise workshops and help drive our agenda efficiently, sustainably and responsibly.


This fixed term parental leave contract position is part-time and will be located at the Newcastle City Campus Q Building (Awabakal and Worimi land).

What we offer
The remuneration for this position is from $91,259 Pro-rated FTE +17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
