As Research Program Manager, you'll play a vital role in managing research administration and support for the Asthma & Breathing Program and Centre of Excellence in Treatable Traits.


In this role you will:

  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks, streamline processes, and optimise systems to align with the programs' objectives and the University's strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate and manage research portfolios to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Manage finances, arrange meetings, and assist with the submission of publications and grants.
  • Provide executive support to the program lead.
  • This fixed term (until Sept '24) position is full time and will be located at the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI) (Awabakal and Worimi land)._

What we offer:

The remuneration for this position is from $91,259 to $102, % superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

The HMRI Research Programs facilitate collaborations between all levels of research to translate scientific advances and new health knowledge into better clinical care, products and improved health care guidelines.

This role works as part of the Asthma and Breathing program team and will play a key role in the in the promotion of excellence in research through the delivery of high-level professional support and engagement with staff, students, industry partners and other key stakeholders.
