About the role

Located in Newcastle West, this is a 2 day per week (Thursday & Friday) maternity leave contract role, ending Friday 22 December 2023.


The role will require you to provide maintenance administration support to the Specialist Disablity Accommodation (SDA) team, ensuring accurate coordination and allocation of incoming service and maintenance requests, whilst adhering to SDA compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assess the urgency of repairs and issue work orders;
  • Provide effective customer service to residents and their families;
  • Check and authorise invoices for accuracy and completeness of work order;
  • General administrative duties including but not limited to word processing and filing as required;
  • Updating records in our database system;
  • Collecting, collating, and recording documents as requested

About You
To be considered for this role, please ensure you have addressed the following essential selection criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in residential property maintenance services;
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional customer service with the ability to gather relevant information through effective questioning;
  • Well developed and effective interpersonal, deescalation and communication skills;
  • General administration duties will be part of the role so proficiency in Excel, Word & Outlook is essential;
  • NDIS/Community Housing experience
  • Proof of Covid Vaccination
