What being an OSHC Educator Entails
OSHC educators care for children before school, after school and during school holiday periods.
Highlights include running fascinating, fun-filled and educational activities with primary school children - such as science experiments, outdoor games and painting.

Your workspace at the Y
YMCA Upper Mt Gravatt Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located in the heart of our community with convenient access to public transport and car parking. Our service offers a range of expansive indoor and outdoor spaces that give students and staff member's ample opportunity to interact. We offer Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care for up to 105 children between the hours of 6:30am and 6:00pm. Our likeminded staff members prioritise the well-being, education and happiness of our children.
Our service philosophy prioritises community and belonging, children's agency and the importance of spontaneous, multi-age play in middle childhood.
We offer a range of planned and spontaneous play experiences for children and welcome educators with unique skill sets to share with children.

To be successful you must have:
- A Certificate or Diploma qualification in Children Services or equivalent or if you are studying towards a relevant qualification
- A Fantastic sense of fun & a tremendous imagination
- Hold or are willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Blue Card or willing to obtain one
