About the Role


As a Business Outbound Acquisition Telesales Consultant you'll be the voice of Optus We want you to be an influential and key part of delivering our best customer service and sales to a very important business customer base.


You get a chance to be a part of brand new vibrant and successful sales team passionate about conducting outbound calling campaigns to prospective business customers.

With the main objective of finding opportunities to improve our customers potential through a comprehensive suite of Optus products, you will provide our business customers with an outstanding level of service, understanding their needs, priorities with a can-do mindset, sense of fun and dedication.

Being a Full Time role, you'll receive a comprehensive package of base salary plus have an opportunity to receive sales commission, bringing the total on target earnings of $88000+ per year, not to mention discounts on products and services


Site bound at our brand-new Adelaide CBD office, with open and inviting environment, modern facilities, collaboration spaces and city views, it's easily accessible by public transport.


Key Responsibilities

  • Cold call, engage with and develop business prospects that you can then convert into a successful sale
  • Document, track and supervise all activities to enriching our database with key data to build a healthy pipeline of customer opportunities
  • Present, promote and sell Optus products and services following prescribed sales processes by asking effective discovery questions, active listening and communicating tailored solutions to address their current and future needs
  • Build lasting customer relationships through engaging conversations and providing outstanding customer experience

About you


You'll be an energetic, passionate, confident and people focussed individual who has prior success in a contact centre or sales role with excellent phone manner with impeccable objection handling techniques.

You'll thrive in target driven environment and be able to provide outstanding customer experiences, and you are not afraid to pick up a phone and make that sales call


You are a problem solver, negotiator and standout colleague, who can work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a positive can-do approach.

You'll have outstanding communication skills and a high level of personal accountability, ensuring you take ownership and follow up.
