**About the Role**

The Business Outbound Acquisition Consultant will be responsible for conducting outbound calling campaigns to prospective business customers identifying opportunities to enhance their business potential through our suite of Optus products.

The Acquisition Consultant will provide our business customers with an unrivalled level of service, understanding their needs, priorities with a can-do attitude, sense of fun and dedication keeping customer and our brand at the forefront.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Cold call, engage with and develop prospects that you can then convert into a successful sale
- Enriching our database with key telecommunications data to build a healthy pipeline of opportunities
- Present, promote and sell products and services following prescribed sales processes and compliance
- Build lasting customer relationships through engaging conversations and providing outstanding customer experience
- Assist every customer by asking effective discovery questions, active listening and communicating tailored solutions to address their current and future needs
- Document, track and supervise all activities in Salesforce

**About you**
- Proven customer sales experience in an outbound call centre environment
- Upbeat, passionate, confident and people focussed individual
- Excellent sales and customer service skills including call control, phone etiquette, use of voice and queue management
- Proven ability to deliver optimum sales results
- Possess excellent phone manner with impeccable objection handling techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
