What You'll Do

If you are joining us directly from school or with a few years of experience, expect to spend time working across a wide range of clients and projects from helping to devise the integration strategy for a pharmaceutical merger to developing sustainable farming practices in emerging countries.

For more experienced professionals, or as your career advances, you'll begin to specialize in one or more practice areas, perhaps as part of our expert consulting track for those with deep knowledge and skills in a particular discipline or industry. Every step of the way you will be guided by BCG mentors and world-class learning programs designed to meet your individual needs

BCG is seeking talented applicants for both Junior Consultant and Consultant roles. We will consider your application at the most suitable level depending on your background and experience and we will continue to assess level during the formal interview process.

Junior Consultant:
As a Junior Consultant, you will work alongside case team members and with clients, drawing on their business knowledge to help drive analysis.
As you acquire successful experience on projects and assignments, you will be given end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of project workstreams.
You will need at least three years of full-time work experience to join as an Experienced Professional at the Junior Consultant level.

Consultant:
As a Consultant, you'll begin to develop specialized knowledge and handle significantly larger and more complex components of our projects.
You'll work closely with clients to identify their issues, craft strategies for change and win consensus for your recommendations. You will collaborate with fellow BCGers to transform client potential into performance.
Typically, our Consultants joining as experienced professionals have over 5 years of full-time work experience and will demonstrate a trajectory in their career to date.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree and MBA with strong academic performance

Professional Skills

  • 3 + years of consulting or industry experience with a proven track record of achievement and high performance in the roles you've held
  • Ability to think analytically and creatively with excellent quantitative and qualitative problem solving skills
  • Adopting out of the box thinking and the capability to package complex topics and ideas
  • Excellent communication and client relationship building skills
