Reporting to the Manager - Employee Relations, and working with the Specialist - Industrial Relations, this role leads CBH Groups' industrial relations activities.


Key deliverables include:

  • Coach stakeholders to increase capability across CBH with respect to industrial and employee relations matters.
  • Provide advice and guidance on industrial relations matters to the Employee Relations team and the wider People and Culture division.
  • Undertake and be responsible for end to end bargaining process for replacement / new enterprise agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (including the Fair Work Act 2009, the National Employment Standards and CBH Group's enterprise agreements).
  • Manage and coordinate CBH Group's Employee Representative Committee (ERC) / Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) meetings.
  • Manage (through to resolution) disputes and grievances.
  • Support the business to ensure proactive change management and compliance with CBH Group's consultation obligations under the relevant enterprise agreements.
  • Conduct investigations and disciplinary meetings, including conducting peer reviews of investigation reports, and disciplinary documentation.


This role is based in the Perth CBD, however regional WA travel will be required at times.- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources/Industrial Relations or a related discipline.- At least six years' proven practical experience working in a complex industrial environment.- Highly developed communication and writing skills, particularly in respect of negotiation and public speaking, the drafting of industrial instruments, employee communications and reports/business cases.- Well-developed problem-solving skills.- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law legislation, including the Fair Work Act 2009 and the National Employment Standards, and experience in the completion of BOOT assessments.- High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivbering outcomes.
