We're seeking an
experienced Stakeholder Relations Manager to
join our New Energy team in our growing Perth office on a fulltime basis.
- Lead the development and execution of stakeholder engagement strategies and communications while ensuring alignment with applicable legislation, good practice and MEPAU policies
- Proactively build relationships and secure support across all levels of state and federal government, including ministers, officials, policy makers, elected members, and other key influencers.
- Build and develop relationships with stakeholders across a variety of community individuals and organizations
- Seek social performance partnership opportunities for strategic engagement, education and awareness initiatives, such as with research, government, and industry.
- Support the development of impactful communications and strategy for MEPAU's new energy and decarbonization projects both domestically and internationally
- Review, propose and prepare high quality communications and engagement activities, materials and content (online content, external publications, presentations, graphics, media releases, Q&As, speeches, key messaging, events) for external stakeholders
Desired Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in applicable field;
- Demonstrated results at a senior level in the resources or energy industries across one or more of the following fields: corporate affairs, government relations, stakeholder and community management
- Demonstrated success in developing and delivering stakeholder engagement requirements for primary and secondary State and Federal approvals, including under the _Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 _(Cth), _Environmental Protection Act 1986 _(WA), _Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972 _(WA), Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2021 (WA).
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced major project environment
- Skilled in developing engaging, highquality, visual presentations and collateral
- Demonstrated success in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help identify opportunities and solve problems
- Highly developed ability to work collaboratively and negotiate outcomes while maintaining a respectful approach
- Ability to undertake regional, interstate, and international travel as needed.
- IAP2 qualifications are desirable
