Pace have exclusively partnered with a multi-national designer, manufacturer and leader within the industrial sector, on the look-out for experienced and driven procurement professionals to join their operation in Melbourne's Inner Suburbs.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process for goods and services, including developing sourcing strategies, evaluating bids and proposals, and negotiating contracts
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement procurement policies and procedures
  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance, and resolve issues as needed
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost savings opportunities and improve procurement processes
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and make recommendations for supplier selection

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement and contract management
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
  • Experience with contract drafting, review, and negotiation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
  • Interest and availability to work and commit to a 12 month contract
